BRISBANE, Australia. Mirus Australia is excited to announce the appointment of Garry Neale to the executive team commencing 11 May 2020. Neale brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the IT and healthcare sectors from a domestic and international level.
“Garry’s background in software and technology organisations and most recently at Procura/AlayaCare will further enable our growth strategy,” says Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Farmer, “and most importantly continue to support our vision of contributing to a world-class aged care industry.”
Neale will focus on scaling up the current practice across Mirus Australia’s revenue, admissions, and workforce management solutions and establish global alliances with the support of co-founder James Price. The significant increase in demand, especially the past four (4) months for Mirus Works! in Australia for acuity based rostering, compliance, skills management, and emergency rostering has bolstered the international focus for Mirus Australia.
Price says “This is a great opportunity to combine Garry’s experience from leading companies in Enterprise Software, Systems Integration, and Management Consulting with that of the Mirus Australia team and our client community. We have been co-designing solutions for aged care, with aged care for nearly 10 years, and to expand our offering into other countries is an exciting possibility for our Australian business.”
Garry’s journey so far has included start-ups, turnarounds, multi-nationals, and M&A activity. With the pending results of a Royal Commission and the increased pressures of supporting a financially sustainable aged care industry, the team at Mirus Australia enthusiastically welcome Garry.
