This program has been designed to nurture leadership capabilities, provide education and career development opportunities, and assist team members in becoming the best leader they can possibly be!

The program includes: Module 1 – Understanding the Self Module 2 – Influencing Others Module 3 – Coaching and Driving Performance

Participants also complete course work in-between sessions including utilising our LinkedIn Learning program or reading specific articles to support our blended learning approach. Participants also complete an online HBDI assessment ** which is the foundation of Module 1

1. What are you hoping to gain from this experience?

I am hoping to learn the philosophies and practical techniques around leadership which I can practice now and in the future. I would also like to understand how to better develop not just myself but to develop the people I coach. I hope to learn what it takes to ensure I am not just a manager but also a leader.

2. How is “your world” changing?

I guess the world is changing for everyone! My world has been moving towards many more opportunities. To learn new skills, both technical and people skills.

3. What tools/process do you use to stay focused when learning something new?

I always implement a strict time management rules in place when I am trying to concentrate on something that I am keen to learn and explore. For example, I had planned out what exactly I need to do daily to prepare for my last CPA module exam, and I tried my best to stick with it. Otherwise, there is no way to manage the time of effort required while also working full-time.

4. What is your career highlight to date?

I have had many career highlights since joining the Mirus team in 2016 because everyone in the team is so instrumental in my professional development and always willing to offer help. It is the collaborative culture and everyone in Mirus together – and it is working pretty well for me!

The HBDI® is a powerful psychometric assessment that defines and describes the way you think and process information. It is built on Whole Brain® Thinking, a holistic and complete model for making decisions. This 120-question survey results in a profile of your preferred thinking styles.
