Care minutes rise as sector approaches 215-minute target

Revenue
The Average Daily Subsidy (ADS) held steady in May, dipping slightly by -$0.16 to $300.80. Total claiming activity decreased slightly from 6.48% in April to 6.23% in May, a change of -0.25%.
Occupancy
Occupancy grew by a further 0.64% to 92.63% in May. Short-stay admissions dropped by -3.12%, accounting for 19.83% of all residents staying in care for less than six months. This month, we introduced a new metric to track changes in advertised room prices, with the average having risen by 6.51% since January 2025.
Workforce management
Total care minutes per resident increased by 1.34% to 212.09 minutes, while Registered Nurse (RN) minutes rose by 1.52% to 43.77 minutes.
