Clinical Management is the MirusPlus module for assessments, care plans, charting and monitoring. It holds each resident’s clinical picture in one record, from validated risk scales and progress notes to clinical charts and care conferences, so care stays person-centred, current and evidence-based. Staff document at the point of care on desktop or the mobile app.
Care plans fall out of date when assessments, notes and charts live in different places. In MirusPlus, approving an assessment prompts an updated care plan and writes a change-log progress note, so the assessment and plan stay aligned. Reassessment tracking shows which residents are overdue, and by how many days, so reviews don’t slip.
MirusPlus includes 128 care documents from day one: 53 assessment and care plan templates, 28 standalone assessments, authorisations and forms, and 47 validated risk and screening tools, including Braden, MNA, Cornell and Barthel. Templates can be refined to reflect your model of care, and risk results score automatically and flow into care planning.
MirusPlus tracks clinical indicators against ranges set for each resident or by their GP, drawing on 33 charting items including vital signs, weight, BGL, wounds and behaviour. Out-of-range results raise an alert and a flag on the noticeboard, so a deteriorating trend is visible before it becomes an incident. Critical information, such as an allergy or swallowing risk, appears everywhere the resident’s record is opened.
Yes. MirusPlus integrates with leading medication management systems rather than replacing them. Admission and resident data flows to the pharmacy, and missed doses, PRN and nurse-initiated medication events flow back as progress notes. MirusPlus also connects to My Health Record for shared health summaries, discharge summaries, medication histories, immunisations and pathology where supported.
Yes. MirusPlus generates the quarterly National Quality Indicator Program submissions, with reports that mirror the data the NQIP portal requires. Figures from observations, charts, incidents and consumer experience reports flow straight through to submission, covering all 14 quality indicators.
