Care funding is now linked to delivered care minutes through the care minutes supplement. The Base Care Tariff (BCT) will be reduced by $33.41 per bed day, with that amount redirected into the supplement. The amount of the supplement paid will depend on your care minutes performance. If you meet your targets, there is no change to the funding you receive.
Performance will be assessed based on the average daily minutes of care delivered per resident, across both total care and registered nurse minutes.
