Occupancy continues to gain momentum each month

Revenue
In February, the industry ADS declined by -0.32 cents, to $267.71. Total claiming activity rebounded to nearly 7% of total claims being assessed by AMOs, while voluntary claiming also increased by 0.72 cents to 4.58%.
Occupancy
In February, occupancy levels across the sector remained relatively positive and stable, settling at 88.59%. MM5 and specialised homeless facilities continued to rise, with the MMM=5 facility types increasing by 1.44% to 86.76%.
Short-stay admissions increased by 3.22%, with 24.79% of residents staying in care for less than 6 months.
Workforce management
Total direct care minutes fell -0.33 cents to 203.11 minutes. RN minutes continued to perform slightly below the anticipated 40-minute industry average but are moving in the right direction with an increase of 1.59%, reaching 39.92 minutes.
