Occupancy dips for the first time since January 2025

Revenue

In June, the industry’s Average Daily Subsidy (ADS) fell slightly by- $0.20 to $300.90. Claiming activity increased to 7.37%, while the average time from request to reassessment decreased to 20.72 days.

Occupancy

Occupancy declined for the first time since January, falling by -0.16% to 91.95%. Short-stay admissions rose to 23.04%, up 3.13% from May, while new permanent admissions increased by 1.79%.

Workforce management

Total care minutes per resident increased by 0.58% to 213.33 minutes, while Registered Nurse (RN) minutes saw a slight decline of -0.15% to 43.72 minutes.
