Why you need to self-assess AN-ACC outcomes

AN-ACC casemix

With AN-ACC, the assessment process will be outsourced. However, providers will still need to know any given day what all residents clinically represent, regardless of their current rating. The casemix outcomes of residents will have to be kept up to date by providers, so they know how to roster, and manage ongoing business scenarios. Each site will therefore need to forecast these casemix outcomes against all residents, in order to predict these scenarios with more accuracy. This process will need to occur consistently, so that there is accurate and up-to-date data that will bring greater insight for providers to know what they need to do in order to keep their rosters compliant with care minute requirements.

To explore this further, this short video will explain why it is crucial that aged care providers know how to self-assess their AN-ACC outcomes.
